A training program on Triangular Cooperation adapting technological advances and innovative solutions to address food security challenges in Africa was started in 2010. In 2018, the programme, which was focused on "Value Addition in Spices", was jointly organized by ICAR-IISR, Kozhikode and MANAGE, Hyderabad. A six member team from Kenya, composed of agribusiness officers, research unit, agricultural extension, and agricultural policy representatives attended the training programme. The insights and technological training provided by the programme has encouraged them to expand the horizons of production and value addition of spices in their native country.
